Chevy Camaro Wrecks Send Pieces Into The Stands!

In case some of you have forgotten here is a little reminder that motorsport is and will always be dangerous.

There are however thing you can do to lower the risks from injury or death, by using proper protection gear, and following simple safety rules that are imposed by the safety marshals at the track and the rest of the employees at the track.

Driver training is also very important as a driver needs to be able to control his vehicle under some very intense situations.

But as the drivers get better and better, they always want to drive the car faster and faster, closer and closer to the top of the cars abilities and many times even beyond them.

The driver in the video you are about to see is named Nick Agostino’s and he is behind the wheel of a Chevrolet Camaro that would have suffered much greater damage if not for the wall, this way he walked away thanks to all the safety precautions that he and the organizers set in place.

Here is some cool footage of a top alcohol funny car in the typical drag run down the strip.
What makes this footage a-typical is the fact that the GoPro is attached to the wheelie bar so we can see the rear slicks in action. We start with a pre-race burnout which is already pretty nice to see how it looks under there when the throttle is pushed.

Then we have an all out run with this GoPro getting slight repositioned, maybe because of a wheelie.

From that point what you can see outside of the tires is only the blur of the scenery racing by.

Her name is Madison Dickson and at the time this video was made she was already on the arrest list, due to a few weapon related crime, amongst which were shooting a woman in the arm and a man in the head in an attempt to steal their vehicle.
We figured that this is very important to be stated before people start going on about police brutality, and even the video alone is proof enough, since the area in which she is shooting at the cops is right next to a school, which was luckily out. So, before you start attacking the Police about excessive force, remember that a stray bullet from her gun even if it was meant at the cop could have injured some kids.
The list is huge and amongst the worst crimes that she was charged with, are; assault with a dangerous weapon, attempted larceny, discharging a firearm in a public place, unauthorized use of a vehicle and intent to kill.

If you’re a car guy, you definitely know the appeal that the opportunity to have every last tool in the catalog holds. When wrenching on your machine, you want to have as many tools as possible to make the job as easy as possible.

For example, when you have a job that should be taking two minutes and instead takes 20, you’ll find the frustration that comes with not having a good enough set of tools.

Therefore, there’s pretty much an endless cycle of wanting to pick up a new tool or gadget that could make your time in the garage easier or even more fun.

For most, in order to get underneath their car and get to work, some sort of lift to hoist the car into the air would be ideal. However, it looks like this person had a little bit something different in mind when it came to getting under his vehicle or vehicles to get a little bit of work done. Instead of lifting the car into the air, it turns out that he would take the opposite approach and lower himself down into the ground by creating a repair pit to give himself a vantage point from under the vehicle and roll it on top. Now, if you want to do suspension work or pull the wheels off of your car, this might not be the ideal set up, however, for most run-of-the-mill jobs, it will probably do just fine.

Check out the video below that shows off this custom garage setup and tell us what you think of the whole ordeal. After you see what this thing is all about, be sure to tell us if you would he willing to shell out the money to pick up one of these things for your very own space to be able to get under your cars to get to work. You can definitely see how something like this would be useful on a variety of different occasions.

While it might seem like just about anyone can pick up a welder and slap down some welds that are effective and look decent, if you have ever tried it, you know that it’s a lot more difficult than it might look.

Thankfully, though, with a little bit of practice and some advice from someone who has been there and done that before, you could probably get your welding skills to be passable if not great and envied!

In this video, we have a welder lay out a couple of techniques that might just help you get your abilities to the next level and even if you’re not interested in trying out welding, it’s still pretty neat to watch as he lays down some killer welds.

Take a look at these techniques down below in the video and tell us if you have ever used one of these and what you think about the way that these welds are done.

Chevrolet Chevelle With a Blown 572 Big Block Hits The Streets …

We make no secret about our love of good ol’ Detroit iron. From Camaros to Mustangs and everything in between, we are big fans of domestic muscle. This Chevelle is a great example of what you can do with a classic hotrod, especially of you love huge, gnarly superchargers.

Boasting five hundred seventy-two cubic inches of blown big block muscle under the hood and a massive blower stick through it. While this kind of setup could easily crank out some insane horsepower numbers, it sounds like the driver probably has the boost turned down and isn’t pushing the car too hard, likely running pump gas instead of higher-octane race gas. However, even with the power levels turned down, the car still looks, sounds and runs solid.

The camera guy says he’d seen the car once before at a store, but this time ran up on the Chevy in traffic and decided to follow with camera in hand to see just what the driver would do if faced with an audience. Like most of us, he decided he would show out a little on the highway, rolling into the throttle and letting the big block stretch it legs a couple of times before exiting off the freeway a few moments later.

We’ll be the first to admit, a highway dig isn’t exactly the ideal type of run for a blown big block, which would be much better suited to lighting up the rear tires from a dig and roasting them for as far as the driver cared to, but it’s still awesome to see guys who aren’t afraid to open up the throttle and let the engine roar.

Mechanic Constructs Drivable “Upside Down Truck”

In the following video you will see one wonderful creation of one man named Rick Sullivan that has built an awesome upside down truck that looks just like a flipped-over vehicle. He spent almost six months and $6,000 building this topsy-turvy vehicle. He used parts from two different vehicles. And yes, this is a road legal car. He created it from a 1995 F-150 pickup truck body that is placed over the top of the vehicle, but upside down, and a 1991 Ford Ranger pickup truck. Watch the video to see this amazing creation. Enjoy!
